Hi, my name is Eric Burris, the creator of Railnet and my adjacent sites that are all linked. Updated February, 2005.
My name is Eric Burris and I am 26 years old as of Jan 6, 2005. I am a serious dedicated "Spirit filled" Christian as of early 2003. I believe in the 5 fold ministry with the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit" and the spritual prayer language called "speaking in tongues". I married Lea Ann Reed on September 13, 2003 and she is 28 years old. I Praise the Lord 24/7 for all my blessings and my NEW LIFE. I got Lea into watching trains and talking to the railfans or railroaders.
I am also serious "Railroad Fan" with a serious interest with ham radios, antennas, and scanners, as well as trains. I also have a green thumb and enjoy collecting and maintaining houseplants and some outdoor plants. I would love to someday have a garden railroad. A garden RR is large scale model trains that are for outdoor use, such as in a flower garden. I also do photography with over thousands of railroad pictures in my collection, over the years.
I also love cats, three in my family now. Buddy, Cally, and Fancy Face.

I currently have a Uniden BC785D base/mobile scanner , Radio Shack Pro-95 and Pro-83 handheld scanners.
My ham radio fleet currently consists of a Yaseu VX7R, a transmit defunct VX150 2mt handheld, Alinco DJ-V5TH dualband handheld, Kenwood TM261A 2mt mobile.
The antenna fleet currently is: ARX2B RINGO RANGER 2 5/8 WAVE VERTICAL, HOMEMADE 1/4 WAVE GROUNDPLANE FOR SCANNER, 160MHZ DIPOLE FOR RR RADIO, A NEW RADIO SHACK DISCONE, AND DIPOLE FOR FRS BASE STATION.
My computer is a kit I built. Has Athelon AMD 17+ processor, 256megabytes ram, 20gigabytes harddrive.
